The body of the camera is out of wood covered with very fine leather. The flap is out of aluminium.
This view camera was also marketed by the Balda brand under the name of Balda - Kamera N°1. Balda is with any doubt the real manufacturer, because Romain Talbot was only one Berliner retailer.
